Accepting My Path

For the past three years or more I have been working on a meditation practice to heal my chakras. (Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra) It took me a long time between chakras 2 and 3 to get my game together and work on the issues I have been facing to feel completed with my third chakra. I finally have reached that point.

If you have not read the other articles, I have chosen to use a mantra technique to work on my chakras. I enjoy working with mantras because there is scientific backing to this kind of spiritual practice. By repeating a phrase an exceedingly large number of times it rewires your brain to accept the statements as truth. It often feels uncomfortable at first to use a mantra and this is good. It means it is helping you to develop a sense of yourself you may not feel strong with.

With my Solar Plexus Chakra, the third one, there was a lot of time that I felt it did not feel right to work on the practice-I had other things on my mind to attend to. Now I can see that my other projects were all leading toward the necessary completion of the meditations on this chakra. Two years back back I did two of my nine meditations. I think this started to set things in motion and may have given me some clarity on my path but it wasn’t until I returned and did my third meditation that I realized I had been on the path for this chakra for many months, even more than a year.

Thinking back now, the work I have done on myself over the past two years has been greatly changing for myself. I have become more open to new possibilities that I had no clue I was closed off from. I looked back at things that I grew up thinking were ‘gross,’ ‘inappropriate,’ or any other adjectives and I finally began to think for myself and really decide my own opinion on the subjects. I finally began to find my own autonomy in my life. I do not have to listen to others opinions and if something is good for me I can incorporate it into my life.

With this has come a huge change in my life and I have been looking to make a very large move. My business and this wonderful blog will stay the same but my physical location is going to be moving and with this I will be following dreams that I have though impossible to follow for as long as I had them. I am finally reaching forward and following my dreams, not the dreams that I always thought I needed to have.

If there are changes you want to see in your own live I highly recommend you develop a mantra practice for yourself. You can make the changes you want to see in your life. It just takes time and effort. Even just repeating a mantra phrase to encourage you for the day while you are in the shower in the morning. We may not be looking forward to the day but if we take just 5 minutes to repeat a phrase we create a new mindset for ourselves. We create the world we want to see and live in.
